BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN LEEDS |
|
|
It might be the
newest chic capital of the North but that’s not
to say that all of Leeds accommodation is ultra-expensive.
If you’re looking for a weekend away, fear not,
there might not be a YMCA but there’s certainly
some cheaper options out there.
If you're just visiting for the night or planning a fun
stag weekend take a look at our selection of the best
options for those on a shoe-string.
The Central Hotel [map]
on New Briggate is right near the city centre action and
only charges £28 per room per night. If you’re
in a not-too-nosy group this could be the perfect place
to spend a fast-moving weekend.
The further from town the more choice you have if you’re
hopping to tighten the purse strings.
There’s bargains galore to be had in the Headingley
area. The Budapest Hotel [map]
charges £29 on weekdays and £26 at the weekend
and the Manxdene Hotel [map]
near the University costs as little as £19 at all
times.
Both are on direct student bus and taxi routes and it
takes a mere 15 minutes to get to the centre of town.
Even further out still are the areas of Roundhay and Elland
Road. Roundhay offers the Clock Hotel [map]
where rooms go for £25 during the week and £20
at the weekend. The Crescent Hotel [map]
near Elland Road offers the most competitive rate we found
though at £19 per room per night at any time.
