GO
THE MORNING AFTER IN LEEDS |
|
|
You’ve
had a great night out so what better way to recover than
a great grill or greasy fry-up?
There’s the usual array of McDonalds and Burger
Kings to satisfy your lust for fried meat but if you’re
looking for somewhere with the emphasis more on “food”
than “fast”, Leeds has a wide range of eateries.
Tiger Tiger [map]
is located at The Light, Leeds, and is a great
place to top up those energy levels. With two bars and
a restaurant, there’s a wealth of choice but for
those in need of some unhealthy options there’s
great deals on chunky chips, and potato wedges.
Go oriental and replenish yourself with a visit to Sahara
Café [map]
on Eastgate. With a taste of North African food and a
“Bedouin tent” décor, it’s a
particular Sunday favourite with worse-for-wear students
and is excellent value.
If you can stomach a trip back to town and like your grill
to have a certain flair to it check out Arts Restaurant
and Café Bar [map].
The café is centrally located near The Corn
Exchange and offers a great menu in comfortable surroundings
that are complimented local artists’ paintings that
adorn the walls.
If you’re starting your day further afield Drink
Food [map]
on Headingley Lane at Hyde Park Corner will do you a breakfast
special to eat in or takeaway with tea and coffee including
for a great price.
If you’re after something more substantial get your
tired old body to Subway [map]
at Boar Lane and the Headrow, Leeds, for a gigantic breakfast
bap.
If you're in Headingley check out the famous Citrus
Bar [map]
at North Lane. This cool bar and restaurant is a particular
favourite with students and does some reviving Sunday
dishes and traditional fry-ups to get you on your feet
again.
